Here is a recipe for making your own textile dye with our product
DYE SOLUTION:
Use shredded or powdered Acacia Confusa Rootbark and water
ratio = 1 part ACRB to 2 parts water
bring the mixture to a boil and simmer for about an hour.
FABRIC TREATMENT:
You will have to soak the fabric with vinegar (to 'fix' the dye) and water in the following ratio:
1 part vinegar to 4 parts water
bring fabric and fixative to a boil and simmer for an hour, rinse out with cold water.
DYE BATH
Add fabric to dye solution
Simmer until desired color is achieved
Please wash dyed fabric in cold water and separately
