This Acacia Confusa is from the lush and majestic slopes below the rain forests atop Hawaii's volcanic mountains. We regularly harvest and hand process the  bark of the deep roots from my own land and that of our neighbors. We strive to not include the light colored woody material let alone upper trunk and branch material. 

 Also Acacia Confusa is not a native plant in Hawai`i and is considered a pest that is displacing the natural habitat, so you are doing the environment a favor by purchasing Acacia from us.
